Sekarang ini, yang agak repot ketika bertemu dengan orang-orang yang semangat keberagamaannya tinggi tapi wawasan keagamaannya dangkal. Biasanya mereka ini orang-orang yang baru tahu agama, baru belajar agama melalui halaqoh-halaqoh yang digelar kelompok-kelompok gerakan transnasional. Orang-orang seperti ini, biasanya mempunyai semangat tinggi untuk selalu mengoreksi perilaku orang lain yang dianggap keliru. Siapa pun yang dianggapnya keliru menurut dirinya, langsung dinasehati, tanpa peduli tepat atau tidak tepat caranya. Orang-orang seperti ini, ketika kita tanya, jawabnya kami hanya menjalankan dakwah Islam.

Ada juga orang-orang yang begitu semangat membuka yayasan pendidikan, TPA atau pesantren Tahfidz Al-Qur’an. Lalu setiap hari, sibuk ke sana-kemari mencari sumbangan. Setiap hari sibuk menyebarkan permintaan sumbangan lewat proposal, aplikasi WhatsApp, dan aplikasi lainnya ke orang-orang, baik yang dikenal atau pun tidak dikenal. Ketika ditanya, jawabannya kami sedang menjalankan syiar Islam.

Ada juga orang-orang yang begitu semangat membangun mushola di sebuah perkampungan atau komplek perumahan. Dengan semangat ’45, mereka membangun mushola di perkampungan atau komplek yang masih sedikit penghuninya. Padahal masjid sudah ada di daerah tersebut dan masih sepi jamaahnya; masih sepi juga kegiatan-kegiatan edukatifnya.

Repotnya lagi, setelah mushola berdiri, penggunaan toa tidak punya aturan. Seenaknya sendiri. Solat jamaah magrib, isya dan subuh seringkali dengan menggunakan toa suara luar menggelegar. Seringkali juga, masih satu jam sebelum solat maghrib, sudah bising anak-anak kecil shalawatan dengan suara saling rebutan dan tidak jelas. Imbauan Kemenag tentang penggunaan toa tidak dianggap. Mereka tidak peduli dengan para tetangga di sekitar mushola yang merasa bising, merasa terganggu sama sekali! Ketika ditanya, mengapa membangun mushola, padahal penduduknya masih sedikit dan masjid sudah ada, jamaahnya aja sepi, kegiatan-kegiatan agamanya masih sepi? Jawabannya: kami menjalankan syiar agama.

Di sinilah, paling repot kita menghadapi orang-orang minim ilmu agama, tetapi semangat keagamaannya tinggi sekali.

Saya melihat mereka ini belajar agama kepada orang yang keliru, bukan kepada kiai, ulama atau guru yang memang mumpuni ilmu agamanya. Kalau mereka belajar kepada para kiai, ulama atau guru-guru yang luas wawasan agamanya, pasti cara keberagamaan mereka juga santun, rendah hati, toleran, dan menyejukkan. Tapi karena belajar agamanya kepada guru-guru yang tanggung-tanggung dan rigid, konsekuensinya menyebabkan mereka menjadi kaku dalam beragama dan orang-orang seperti inilah, sebenarnya yang menjadikan interaksi dalam ruang-ruang publik menjadi pengap, sumpek, gaduh, dan bising. Sebuah keberagamaan yang bising.

Apalagi ketika memasuki bulan ramadhan seperti saat ini, sebagian masjid dan mushola menggunakan toa secara berlebihan. Ada yang menjalankan solat tarawih dengan suara toa luar. Bilal solat tarawih pun menggunakan toa bagian luar yang menggelegar. Setelah tarawih, bacaan tadarus Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan suara toa luar. Setelah solat subuh, mengaji Al-Qur’an juga menggunakan toa luar. Begitu juga, sebelum magrib, sejak jam lima sore atau jam 05.10 menit sudah ramai suara ngaji atau shalawatan dengan menggunakan suara toa luar.

Jadi suasana ramadhan, suasana puasa agak bising dengan suara-suara toa yang menggema dari masjid dan mushola. Apalagi waktu setelah solat subuh. Bagi yang bekerja, biasanya setelah subuh digunakan untuk istirahat lagi. Jam 07.30 bangun dan jam 8 sudah harus kantor sampai sore. Jadi istirahat pagi setelah subuh itu sangat berarti bagi orang-orang yang bekerja dari pagi sampai sore. Tapi dengan suara ngaji dari masjid atau mushola yang menggunakan toa luar, jadi menganggu istirahat pagi hari.

Sebenarnya aturan menggunakan toa sudah lama ada dari Menteri Agama sebagaimana saya share. Tapi mungkin kurang sosialisasi sampai ke tingkat takmir masjid dan mushola. Harusnya pihak Kemenag memerintahkan seluruh Kanwil Kemenag Provinsi, Kemenag Kabupaten/Kota, atau daerah misalnya, untuk mensosialisasikan aturan penggunaan toa kepada seluruh takmir masjid dan mushola di daerahnya masing-masing. Jadi aturan tersebut benar-benar sampai kepada para takmir yang mengurus masjid dan mushola secara langsung.

Karena masyarakat merasa riskan untuk menegur pihak masjid dan mushola yang menggunakan toa secara berlebihan. Ketika kita menegur/mengingatkan takmir masjid dan mushola agar menggunakan toa secara wajar sebagaimana mestinya sesuai aturannya, kita dianggap tidak religius, tidak peduli dengan syiar agama. Bahkan kadangkala teguran dari masyarakat menyebabkan konflik antara pihak tamir dan orang yang mengingatkan. Jadi persoalan toa ini, memang harus pihak pemerintah yang menangani agar tidak terjadi kebisingan dalam beragama dan tidak terjadi konflik antar sesama masyarakat.
